Niklas and Thalia travelled to Tokyo to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Despite a little rain, they marked the special occasion with a romantic and playful photo session under the cherry blossoms.
Shiba Park is Japan’s oldest public park and boasts a number of sights worth seeing. Besides an incredible view of Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple is located on the grounds, as well. This Buddhist temple has an impressive main gate and the grounds are peaceful (and free) to explore.
One of the highlights of Niklas and Thalia’s first trip to Tokyo was exploring Shinjuku Golden Gai, a section of small alleys (too narrow for cars to get down) filled with hundreds of tiny bars. “We met lots of interesting people there.”
Niklas and Thalia’s favourite restaurant was Otsuka, a small steakhouse located in Kyoto. “Try the Murasawa steak, probably the most tender we’ve ever had.”
“We had such a blast and even though the rain was pouring down at times, Flytographer Daniel made it a special moment for us.”
