How to Book Your Flytographer Shoot

Our 5-step guide below will show you how easy it is to book your Flytographer shoot with a Gift Card.

If you have any questions along the way, our Concierge team is ready to help.

How it Works in 5 Easy Steps

  • 1. Select a Photographer & Request Your Date

Find a photographer in your chosen destination, and send in a request to check their availability. We recommend inquiring at least 1-2 weeks in advance of your travel date, but further ahead if you have a specific date and photographer in mind.

  • 2. Book Your Flytographer Shoot

Within 24-48 hours, you’ll be notified if your photographer is available for your date & start time. If not, we can help you find another. Once confirmed, you can officially book and reserve your shoot using your gift card code. If you wish to upgrade to a longer package, no problem - you’ll be able to make an additional payment if required.

  • 3. Finalize Your Shoot Plan

You will receive your Shoot Scoop itinerary along with your photographer's contact information before the shoot day.

  • 4. Photo Shoot Day!

Meet up with your photographer 10 minutes before your shoot to go over your goals, and then it's all about having fun on your session!

  • 5. Receive Your Photos

Within five days after your shoot, you will receive your beautiful gallery in your inbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

How and when will I get my photos after the shoot is done?

We will send you an email with link to your online gallery within five days. There will also be a link in that email to leave feedback and tell about your experience, so please be sure to let us know!

Can I choose which photos I receive in my gallery?

The Flytographer packages include only the ‘best of the best’ from your shoot – as industry practice, your photographer removes any photos with funny faces, closed eyes, and improper lighting. Due to the nature of candid photography, not all shots that are taken will turn out as planned, but if you have any ‘must have’ shots, we would be more than happy to prioritize those shots so that they end up in your final gallery.

Can I buy all of the shots that the photographer took?

Unfortunately not. Not even if you ask really, really nicely… 😉 We know that it can take dozens of snaps to get exactly that perfect version of a shot, and since our photographers shoot in RAW format this would mean editing hundreds of extra not-perfect shots rather than focusing on delivering you the best of the bunch. This leads into our other, even more important, reason: we only want to send you shots that we think you love.

All this being said… if you thought there were shots you remember being taken that didn’t make it into your set, let us know and we can reach out to your photographer and find out what’s possible. (Please note: under no circumstance are we able to provide images in raw format.)

Can I see the photographer’s portfolio before I book?

Of course! You can view each photographers portfolio from their city page! Select your destination here. When you have chosen your favourite photographer check their availability with our concierge team by submitting an inquiry.

How long in advance should I book my shoot?

We suggest you book at least a week in advance, although we will attempt to accommodate last minute requests (but no promises). The ideal time frame to ensure you get your preferred time/date is at least 4 weeks in advance.
