“Carl and I both travelled a lot before we got married three and a half years ago and ever since we met, it has been a dream of ours to travel together, but we just haven’t had the chance. We have been dreaming about this trip, about getting to explore a piece of the world together since the day we met, and actually getting to do it was better than I ever could have imagined.
“We were in Europe for two weeks — in Spain first (my choice), and in Portugal second (his choice), and we selected Porto a bit randomly. But from the second we arrived, we totally fell in love. Porto was like no other city we’ve ever been to before. It was just purely magical. We had so much fun, ate the very best food, and took in the sights at the river as much as we could. The food in Porto is absolutely amazing. Every meal we had was out of this world, so definitely come hungry! (Oh, and bring comfy sneakers. Truly, those hills are no joke!) It was truly such a dream of a trip. We’ll be back, for sure!
