It’s never too early to get your kids hooked on travel. Kari took her five-month-old daughter on her very first vacation to Provence. We have a feeling this little lady will be bitten by the travel bug as she gets older. Read on for more on mom and baby’s first vacation together.

THEIR STORY

Gordes is an amazing little village in Provence and it was just a perfect place for me to bring my baby girl for her first vacation. It was so fun to see all the attention she got everywhere we went like the local bakery, restaurants and small shops. It was not difficult to see that she enjoyed it.

“We stayed in the middle of the village and were close to everything. We had some relaxing days just wandering around and enjoying being there. With a 5-month-old baby, it was perfect to not have a lot of things we had to see and do, and just focus on spending time with her.

“Having our photos taken was a highlight of the trip for me. I am a single mom and I have always travelled a lot. Now that we are a family of two, it is important to me that we travel together. I wanted to get some great images from our first trip together without having to rely on selfies or asking other people because they never turn out how you would like them. Even though she didn’t understand what was happening while we were taking photos, I hope she will appreciate them when she gets older.

“I hope we can make this a tradition, to have some of our travelling documented by Flytographer. I think that might be a fun mother and daughter thing to do, and will probably be more and more fun as she gets older.” – Kari
