These two lovebirds took a whirlwind trip to celebrate both their belated honeymoon and their first wedding anniversary. Their adventure took them all over Europe and North Africa. “My partner, Stacy, and I took this whirlwind vacation to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary and belated honeymoon. We decided if we were going to cross the Atlantic, we wanted to hop around and see as many unique places as we could. We travelled all over Europe and even rode camels in Morocco.
“My favourite memory of Lisbon was watching the ocean sparkle and the cruise ships come in as I drank my morning tea from the terrace of the beautiful, cozy apartment where we were staying in in Alfama. It was so relaxing and as a Canadian prairie girl, I found it particularly luxurious!
“If you go, give yourself permission to get lost in the winding streets and just explore! Also, try to make it to one of the many beaches, which was well worth it to us, and taking the train there was easy.
“Our Flytographer Cláudia was brilliant. Her style worked well with ours – she instantly put us at ease and helped us feel welcome in her beautiful city. Her joyfulness and enthusiasm were really the best first impression we could have hoped for for our time in Lisbon, and I think that translates in her photos. She captured a perfect balance of our affection and playfulness, set among the moving and inspiring backdrop of Lisbon’s architecture and gorgeous sunrise.
