Sometimes all you need in a vacation is to spend it with your loved ones on the beach with no plans but to enjoy the time together. Emily, her husband Michael, and her parents Doug and Sharon, did exactly that in Tulum. Flytographer Monica captured their relaxing time together on the beach.
“Our trip to Mexico was really special. I hadn’t travelled with my parents for quite some time so it’s always exciting when we get that time together, but this was an especially meaningful trip.
“I surprised them with this photo session because I knew they didn’t have many pictures together and we were celebrating my dad’s recent recovery from a disease that had prevented him from travelling over the past few years.
“We stayed mostly at our resort in Tulum, but we did venture out to Coba, where we climbed the pyramid and wandered around the ruins. Tip: I highly recommend paying the money for one of the bike drivers – it’s a far walk and it was nice to talk with a local.
