1. Make a list of 10 things you love about yourself

To get fully on board the self-love train, you have to REALLY love yourself! Start by making a list of 10 things you love about yourself. Sound hard? We know, but trust us, there are way more than 10 things that make each of us unique and lovable. Once you start thinking about all the things that make you amazing, it will be hard to stop at just 10! And why should you? Make your list as long as you can and don’t stop there — keep adding to it whenever something new comes to mind!

2. Plan a solo trip

Plan a trip simply because YOU want to go. The destination can be near or far. Whether it’s a bucket list destination or a weekend road trip, the only rule is that you must consult only yourself on the details. Oh, so liberating! Solo travel is a great way for anyone to discover themselves fully. No matter your age or situation, we all have something new we can discover about ourselves.

3. Make time for mindfulness

Practice mindfulness by taking time to be alone with your thoughts. Turn off those devices, read a good book, make yourself a warm cup of tea, or spend time soaking in a warm bath. Make time for whatever it is that relaxes you!

4. Get active

Stop making excuses and make time to be active. Getting to the gym can be a struggle, but no one regrets going once they’re there. Prioritizing fitness is a natural mood and energy booster. 5. Treat yourself

There are so many little things we neglect just because we don’t think we deserve them. Would a vase full of fresh flowers put a smile on your face? Go pick up some colourful buds just for you!
