Forget the traditional anniversary gifts like paper, cotton, leather, and wood. Tre and Brittany mark each year of their marriage — three and counting! — with a photo shoot. Read on for how they made year three extra special in Paris.

“Paris stole my heart when I was 16 years old. The architecture, the art, the food, the language — everything about this city is beautiful. When my husband and I were deciding where to take a vacation this year, I threw out, ‘Why not Paris?’ Quickly, my husband fell in love with this city just as I did ten years prior.

“In college, my husband and I took an art history class on a whim. Surprisingly, it ended up being one of our favourite classes — despite being completely outside our majors. Ever since then, we have so enjoyed spending hours at museums in cities that we visit. This trip, one of our favourite memories was being able to sit and admire the work of Monet at Musée de l’Orangerie and then go to Giverny to see the actual inspiration behind his Water Lilies. Truly such a beautiful work of art that left us in awe!

“My husband and I have had photos taken every year since we got married three years ago as a way to commemorate each year. This is the first time I have booked a photographer through a company vs. an individual and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of work. Olga was fantastic! She understood exactly how to make us feel comfortable to be able to achieve amazing photos. We felt like we could completely be ourselves in front of her.” – Brittany
