It’s no secret that we’re major fans of a little town called Victoria (if you’re ever in town, stop by Flytographer HQ and say hello!), so this adorable family vacation has our hearts aflutter. We spoke with Kiki about why she loves returning to her hometown of Victoria again and again.

What are your top tips for travellers planning a trip to Victoria?

Visit in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Walk as much as you can — I love to stay in James Bay and walk to town along the harbour. Stop at an amazing coffee shop along the way — there are many.

If you could recommend one thing that should absolutely not be missed on a trip to Victoria, what would it be?

The Esquimalt Lagoon is seriously unique. I took it for granted growing up near there, but now it takes my breath away every time I visit.

What makes travel magical for you?

I always find new things to love about Victoria, every time I visit (even after living there for 25 years).
