We are hiring! Flytographer is looking for a Digital Content Manager to develop and own the voice of Flytographer for all channels including web, email, blog and social.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Determine annual content strategy and plan based on core marketing and business objectives, trends/themes, and key audience needs.
  • Develop and own the voice of Flytographer for all channels including web, email, blog and social
  • Plan and write engaging, compelling blog posts, website copy, emails, social media posts, brand collateral and more
  • Ensure brand consistency (concepts, copy, tone) on all projects and deliver key messages for users at each stage of the sales funnel

Demand Generation

  • Access and understand customer problems, motivations, needs and wants in order to develop action-oriented copy
  • Use SEO principles and best practices to rework copy to naturally integrate strategic keywords to help us show up in the right places
  • Optimize copy based on internal feedback, A/B testing data and campaign performance
  • Create and test copy that drives conversions, increases click-through rates or impacts other key metrics
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites

Social Media

  • Manage a social media calendar and content, staying on top of trends and best practices for posts and IG stories
  • Choose imagery for blog, email, social and assigned marketing campaigns
  • Create and post timely, relevant content to our social channels to drive engagement
  • Educate and influence other team members on best practices around conversion copy and social media

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in digital content writing {including blog, email, mobile (in-app/product, push notifications), digital advertising, social media, landing pages, etc.}
  • Professional journalism/marketing degree preferred
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams  
  • Fluent in digital marketing channels including blog, email, mobile (in-app/product, push notifications), digital advertising, social media, landing pages, etc
