Meet Elizabeth in Philadelphia

Hi! I'm Elizabeth, and I am a former Chicagoan who now resides in my favorite city in America - Philly (Go Birds). Photography is my absolute passion and I feel incredibly lucky to get to do it for a living. My photography style is best described as photojournalistic. Most of my favorite shots are natural, unposed moments. I edit with deep tones and soft colors to create stylized, powerful, naturally-lit images.

Three Things

  1. Before focusing on photography, I studied international politics at The George Washington University. I then completed a year of AmeriCorps service teaching photography at a Title 1 Philadelphia middle school, and have been in Philly ever since.
  2. When I'm not taking photos, I am usually taking my adopted dog named Ding Dong (he came with the name) on adventures. I also love going on road trips up and down the East coast, as well as watching football and baking.
  3. I have lived in the Czech Republic and Ecuador.
