When Flytographer was in its first year of business, we met Savi & Vid, the über-stylish and perpetually happy couple who author travel blog Bruised Passports. Also in the launch stage of their website, we collaborated on a shoot in their hometown of London. Although Savi & Vid have already shared these breathtaking photos with their readers, we have been storing them for over a year, and felt it was more than time to bring them out of the archives!
Savi & Vid met as students in New Delhi, and moved to the UK several years ago so Savi could pursue her PhD. Eschewing the rituals of a traditional Indian wedding, they instead opted for a civil ceremony and a big party. One of our favourite stories from their blog recounts how, instead of receiving the ever-popular gold and cash as wedding presents, they requested a MacBook and proper camera that they could use on their travels. Best wedding gift ever! Savi & Vid spend their free time travelling, writing and documenting their amazing journeys to every corner of the globe, and we love following their adventures. (Check out their latest blog and video on Finland to experience some serious wanderlust!) Truly, we are addicted to this charming couple’s joie de vivre, open hearts and genuine love for each other.
On our shoot, the dynamic duo took us on a walk around their favourite neighbourhoods, where Flytographer Julie captured their beauty and spirit. With photos as gorgeous as these (and with such amazing people in front of the camera, how could they not be?), we welcome another collaboration with Bruised Passports anytime!
