1. Palma Cathedral
Palma Cathedral, also known as La Seu, is a stunning Gothic cathedral located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. ⛪ Situated along the shores of Bay de Palma and overlooking Parc de la Mar, the cathedral is surrounded by beauty.
And Palma Cathedral itself is stunning! Towering Gothic spires, intricate stone carvings, and large, ornate windows make up the awe-inspiring exterior of La Seu. The interior is equally impressive, with gorgeous stained glass windows—including one of the largest rose windows in the world! 😍

A former fishing barrio, Santa Catalina is located at the site of a centuries-old market—Mercat de Santa Catalina—open every day except Sunday. 3. Old Town
Old Town Palma de Mallorca is the historical centre of the city, known for its picturesque streets, beautiful architecture, and rich history. Old Town is home to several significant landmarks, including La Seu, Almudaina Palace, and Bellver Castle. 🏰
The neighbourhood is easily one of the best places to take photos in Palma de Mallorca. Old Town is a labyrinth of narrow cobblestoned streets and alleyways, with colourful architecture dating back to the medieval period. A beautiful backdrop for photos! Plus, a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants line the streets, making Old Town a great place to spend the day exploring or to settle in with a coffee and watch the world go by. ☕
For those interested in art and history, Old Town is also home to several museums, historical sites, and art galleries, including the Arab Baths, Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the Museum of Mallorca.

4. Cathedral Botanical Gardens
The Cathedral Botanical Gardens are a stunning botanical garden located just a short walk from Palma Cathedral. The gardens are part of Palma de Mallorca’s historical heritage and are considered one of the most beautiful green spaces in the city. 🌳
The gardens are a serene oasis with winding footpaths, lush greenery, and tranquil fountains. ⛲ Cathedral Botanical Gardens feature themed areas, including the Mediterranean garden, the palm garden, and the exotic garden. 5. Portals Vells
Portals Vells is a beautiful series of coves located on the southwest coast of Mallorca, known for its crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches, and stunning natural surroundings. It’s a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, especially during the summer months. ☀️
Portals Vells is made up of three separate coves, each with its own unique charm. The first cove, Cala del Mago, is a small secluded beach popular for sunbathing. 6. Cala Mesquida
Cala Mesquida is a stunning beach located on the northeast coast of Mallorca along the coast of the Balearic Sea. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with crystal clear water and sugar-white sands that stretch along 300 metres of coastline. 🌊

7. Ermita de Portals Nous
Located just a 20-minute drive southwest of Palma de Mallorca, Ermita de Portals Nous is a charming little chapel in the small village of Portals Nous. The chapel is a popular destination for visitors, as it’s situated on a hilltop overlooking the sea and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, including sandy beaches and the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. ⛰️
The chapel was built in the 17th century and is considered to be one of the oldest buildings in the Palma de Mallorca region. It’s a small, simple building, with a whitewashed facade and a bell watchtower. Despite its small size, the Ermita de Portals Nous is a beloved local landmark and is often used for weddings and other special events.

8. Avinguda na Borges
Avinguda na Borges is located along the northeast coast of Mallorca in the small village of Son Serra de Marina. It’s situated along Torrent de na Borges, a winding creek that flows into Alcudia Bay.
This off-the-beaten-path location is well worth a visit! The charming village is lined with whitewashed buildings and palm trees — a lovely spot for a photoshoot. 📸
And the nature in this region is simply wonderful! The sandy beach and sparkling turquoise waters are complemented by grassy fields, shimmering creek waters, and fantastic views of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains in the distance.

9. Platja de Can Pere Antoni
Platja de Can Pere Antoni is a popular urban beach located in the city of Palma de Mallorca. The beach is located just a few minutes walk from the city centre, making it easily accessible to visitors staying in the area. It’s a large, open beach, stretching over 900 metres in length, and is backed by a palm-lined promenade. 🌴

10. Hacia el Sur
Hacia el Sur, which means “Toward the South” in English, is a stunning sculpture located in Palma de Mallorca near the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. The sculpture was created by acclaimed Spanish artist Joan Miró in 1967. The artwork is made of stainless steel and stands 13 metres tall, making it a prominent landmark in the city.
Hacia el Sur’s design was inspired by Miró’s fascination with the stars, which is reflected in the work’s abstract and celestial shapes. 🌟 Over the years, Hacia el Sur has become a significant attraction for both tourists and locals, offering a unique perspective on art and nature and an interesting backdrop for photos.
