Nearby Place de l’Hôtel de Ville features the majestic Town Hall, while Place des Cardeurs offers a bustling square filled with restaurants and vibrant nightlife.

3. Fontaine de la Rotonde

The Fontaine de la Rotonde stands as an iconic monument in Aix-en-Provence, serving as both a symbol of the city and a popular meeting point for residents and tourists. Majestic in its presence, this grand fountain stands at the crossroads of several boulevards—including Cours Mirabeau—firmly establishing itself as a prominent landmark within the city’s heart.  

At its centre, three bronze nymphs stand atop a stone pedestal, and water cascades gently from their hands into a round basin below. Surrounding this central sculpture are dolphins, cherubs, and intricate floral designs, all coming together in an awe-inspiring scene.

Located along the edge of Parc Luberon and the foot of the French Alps, Valensole is a breathtakingly beautiful village in Provence known for its role as a gateway to one of the world’s most enchanting natural phenomena: the blooming lavender fields. 😍
