Meet Janelle in Provence

I'm a Kiwi gal living in Provence with my husband and twin toddlers. I've been in the land of croissants, wine and cheese for 6 years now and my love for this country has blossomed - mainly because of the food! Since 2017, I've been capturing the stories of people visiting Paris through my lens and it brings me immense joy. There's something so beautiful about freezing those pure, genuine, perhaps fleeting, real-life moments that will be cherished forever. In April 2023, I made the move to Provence and, while my backdrop has changed, the joy of storytelling through photography is still there.

Three Things

  1. A few of my favourite things are playing in our garden with my twins and enjoying the peacefulness of our little Provencal cottage. I also love coffee, podcasts, watching and rewatching and then watching again The Office or Friends (I'm in a perpetual loop) and diving into a fresh DIY project (currently obsessed with natural dyeing). I just love creating things with my hands.
  2. Ever since settling in Europe, my husband and I have made a point to visit Italy every year (except for 2020, for obvious reasons). We're all about embracing the Dolce Vita!
  3. I've called 19 different places home throughout my life - 9 during my upbringing and 10 with my husband. I suppose you could say I love change?

Pricing starts at $385 USD for a 60-minute vacation shoot

Janelle is available for 30-minute sessions in Avignon, Arles, St Remy, and Beaux de Provence. A minimum 60-minute shoot length is required for bookings in Aix-en-Provence and other routes outside of Avignon.

Janelle requires additional travel fees on the following routes:

Gordes Village: 35 EUR

Plateau de Valensole: 35 EUR

Moustiers Sainte Marie: 35 EUR

Verdon Canyon: 35 EUR

Tourtour: 35 EUR
