Welcome to Glasgow!

This city is hopping; it was recently named as one of the Top 20 World Cities for 2016 by National Geographic Traveler. It's easy to see why: full of music (a UNESCO City of Music), couture shopping (a strong match for London's West End), and stunning architecture (buildings by Art Nouveau architect Charles Rennie Macintosh dance alongside a modern masterpiece by Zaha Hadid), Glasgow is a city on the move. Glaswegians are as proud of their colourful history as they are of their promising future.

I am an Edinburgh-based photographer. My style is story-telling, romantic, natural & candid. I predominantly work with natural light & believe that the best photographs are those taken when you're genuinely interacting with those you love - so I always aim to keep things simple and fun. I have been a wedding & lifestyle photographer for more than 8 years. In that time, I have been featured in some of the industry's leading mags & blogs, including the acclaimed "We Fell In Love." Along the way, I've picked up the title of Featured Wedding Photographer of the Year for both 2013 & 2014 by the glossy award-winning Scottish Field Magazine.

I believe in capturing moments as they happen - natural, emotive, storytelling moments. Whether it's a tender look between loved ones, a hearty uncontrollable laugh, or simply taking in the beautiful sights, I'll be there to catch them all. For those that freeze up in front of the camera, I'll play icebreakers and for the lens lovers among you, I'll let you do your thing. I simply let you be you, capturing true moments and bringing you images that you will cherish forevermore. Images that will throw you right back into that very moment, reliving the emotions you felt as if you were there again.

I love to see the people I photograph having fun, but if you're a couple in love, then I love seeing that too. Capturing the moments that mean a lot to you is what is important to me. I am usually a wedding photographer, but my style is personal, relaxed, fun and editorial which transfers easily to most situations.

I thrive on new adventures, experiences, and getting out of my comfort zone. Originally from Canada, I moved to beautiful Scotland for those exact reasons. I love connecting with people and capturing their moments through photographs to treasure for years to come. My photography style is rooted in emotion and connection, inspired by the historic and charming backdrops of Edinburgh. My goal is to have fun and take beautiful photographs together - like hanging out with an old friend! I believe in the power of photography to transport us back to our favourite moments in life: a tight snuggle on a drizzly day, a kiss on a warm summer evening, or a gut busting laugh - the kind that makes your stomach hurt. Edinburgh is an incredible city and I can't wait to share it with you (and tell you all the best things to do while you're here!). Trust me… haggis is delicious!
