Michael's Proposal Story in Capri

What is your love story?

My fiance and I met on a dating app. We talked for a few weeks on the dating app. When I met her in person I felt like we had known each other forever. From that day on is history. Our love grows day by day and we are so excited to get married in June!

What made you choose this proposal destination?

I wanted to do something different. Italy has always been a destination I had dreamed of proposing since I met my fiance. It is a romantic atmosphere with a sunset like no other. Capri could not have been better! It forever has a special place in our hearts!

What is your proposal story?

I had told my fiance that we were going to a fancy dinner. We got all dressed up and went for a walk to the location. Once we got to the location she was blown away. It was a balcony terrace at Hotel Caesar Augustus over looking the water and sunset. We walked over to the balcony where I saw my flytographer but my fiance was oblivious. She just wanted to take pictures by the balcony. I had discussed with my flytographer that taking a selfie would be the cue to start the proposal. We took the selfie, my fiance turned around to take scenic pictures and when she turned back around I was on one knee. I don't really remember much of what I said, even though I had a whole planned speech, but she laughed and teared up at the same time throughout the whole thing! Andrea our flytographer was wonderful and captured every moment of it. After the proposal we had timed it perfectly to get pictures with a once in a lifetime sunset and finish off the best night of my life with a sunset dinner. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect night!
