Meet Jessica K. in Cascais
Your comfort in front of the camera is as important to me as documenting you looking your best. I'm always looking for charming local details, gorgeous light, and interesting elements of design to incorporate into my photographs. I feel accomplished when both my clients and I have fun creating beautiful photographs together. I tend to laugh a lot and I hope you will too! I earned a bachelor's degree in Photography from SCAD in 2009 and have been a professional photographer ever since. In 2022 I started a new life adventure and moved by myself from Seattle, Washington to Portugal!

Favorite Place to Shoot: Santa Marta Lighthouse
Three Things
- My superpower is capturing genuine connections between couples and families who think they're 'not photogenic’ by documenting authentic moments. My photoshoots feel more like a relaxed conversation. My friends and clients tell me I have a knack for making people feel very comfortable. Strangers even tell me their life stories.
- Izakaya Cascais is my favorite restaurant in Cascais, serving authentic Japanese cuisine. Definitely book a reservation as it is a small restaurant with limited seating.
- Be sure to wander the back streets of the historic part of Cascais to feel the charm of the city and check out the Santa Maria lighthouse. For a short half day trip, I recommend visiting Cabo da Roca for stunning cliffside views of the ocean.
