Travel Story
My husband and I live on a farm in Iowa, but I was born and raised in Seattle. We booked a last minute trip when my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The idea for the shoot was to capture memories together while everyone is still feeling well because you never know what will happen and when. Now we have beautiful pictures to look back on during the inevitable ups and downs that come along with fighting a disease like that.
Travel Tips
Seattle has some of the best food in the entire world, I lived here for over 21 years and can't say I've ever had a bad meal. My absolute favorite restaurant in Seattle is Place Pigalle within Pike Place Market, its hidden behind the fish throwers. The food is incredible and you cannot beat the view! Ivar's on the Pier is a long time favorite because of the show the seagulls put on, be sure to order extra fries! For breakfast try Beth's Cafe, you won't be leaving hungry.
