Travel Story
This was my husband's first international trip and we wanted to make it extra special - so of course we had to choose Paris! I had been to Paris once before as a little girl, but experiencing it again with my love was an unforgettable experience full of nostalgia, romance, and adventure. We spent 10 days in France, also visiting beautiful Nice and Marseille along the way, but book-ended our trip with Paris. My favorite memory was all the delicious food and pastries we ate - I kept thinking "This is the best meal I've ever had" only to be topped by the next one. Another favorite day was when we visited beautiful Disneyland Paris - we are huge Disney fans and that has been on our bucket list for a long time. This trip was a dream come true - Paris is one of those places that always lives up to expectations. We can't wait for many more adventures to come!
Travel Tips
You can't go wrong in Paris! Honestly my favorite moments were just walking around Paris between activities, so be sure you aren't rushing around too much. Take time to "stop and smell the roses" (or if you go in April like we did - the cherry blossoms!) I do highly recommend visiting Montmartre (go see Le mur des je t'aime) and the Shakespeare and Company bookshop (again, if you go in the spring there are beautiful cherry blossom trees right outside). Also, try to do your Flytographer shoot as early in the AM as you can manage - we got up SO early but it was so worth it to walk around feeling like we were alone in the city with our photographer.
