Travel Story

We started planning this trip as a way for us to teach our girls about the world. Since they are quite the little history buffs, Europe seemed most appropriate! We started our two week journey in Rome and northern Italy, had a brief but memorable stay in Paris and ended here in London! We loved discovering this culturally diverse city with our children! Seeing things through their eyes was amazing! Our photographer, Jimmy, was great and helped capture this trip in a way we couldn’t have done without him! He shared local secrets and history of the area too! Overall, a fantastic experience!!

Travel Tips

We were a bit apprehensive about taking the metro system and train all the way to Hampton Court Palace, at first. It proved to be well worth the journey! We went on a Sunday and it was chilly and rainy, which led to zero lines or crowds!! We felt as though we had Henry the IIIV palace to ourselves! After we had taken in enough history and grandeur we headed out to the little town for a late lunch. Henry’s Kitchen is a locally sourced and locally owned cafe and bar just across the street from the main gates of the palace! Delicious!!
