FAQ

What is a route?

We’ve worked with our professional local photographers to find the most photogenic parts of each city. Each one starts with a meeting place in the area and your photographer will guide you along the best route to achieve your shoot vision and desired backdrops.

I have a location in mind that isn’t listed as a route, can I have my shoot there?

We have created all of our routes using our photographers’ expert recommendations with a variety of locations to match your vision. However, if you have a specific location in mind that you don’t see listed, choose the “I have another location in mind” option on your request and let us know where you would like to meet.

Do some routes cost extra?

Some routes may require an additional fee for the following scenarios:

  • travel to a more remote/custom location
  • obtaining a necessary photography permit for the location
  • admission if shooting at an attraction, resort, or private property

Travel fees and permit fees are stated at the time of booking and are to be paid to the photographer in local currency when you meet for your shoot.
Admission fees must be confirmed by you, and paid directly to the attraction, resort, or private property when required.

What if I want my specific photographer's recommendations?

We have taken all of our photographers’ expert suggestions to build out the routes that you can choose from when booking, so all of our routes come highly recommended! However, if your specific photographer believes there is a better option for your shoot goals, they will have the option to recommend a different route when they respond with their availability for your shoot request.

Can the route be changed after I book?

Your photographer will confirm their availability for your request based on the route you have requested. While we always do our best to accommodate a change in route after booking, we cannot guarantee that your photographer will be able to travel to an alternate location.
