How did you meet?

What is your love story?

We met through mutual friends at party in college. She looked beautiful and had/has such a pretty smile. We ended up talking on the couch for hours, paying no attention to time or our friends. I knew I couldn't let the moment fade so I asked her on a date right then and there (apparently I was the first guy to ever ask her on a date face-to-face). Out first date went amazingly but due to some unfortunate life circumstances days after the date we had to remain friends for a while. I never stopped pursuing for almost a year...until she asked me on another date and we have been together for 4.5 years. I knew she was the one since the day we met at that party and we just talked for hours AND we still love just talking to one another about anything and everything.

What made you choose this proposal destination?

We have always loved Cerritos/Todos Santos. But last year due to my work schedule, she had to join my family on a trip here without me. My family truly loved her and got the chance to get to know here 1-on-1 without me and vice versa. She learned more about me and who I am by getting to understand where I came from, how I was raised and what that means for who I am today. It is also just a simply beautiful destination.

What is your proposal story?

It was a normal day (I wanted her to be as surprised as possible). We got brunch, went to the beach, etc. I had made a dinner reservation at the Green Room (beachside restaurant) which on it's own is a highlight of the trip. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we got some drinks and enjoyed each other's company, then I suggested a sunset beach walk which isn't abnormal for the destination. Once we on our own down the beach, I just let her get a steps ahead while I got down on the knee...
