We loved Alibi Room at Pike Place Market. They had great gluten-free pizza and the service was top notch! We also drove to Nuflour, which is a gluten-free bakery. The owner is 109 years old! We loaded up on zucchini banana muffins and gluten-free brownies! Ghost Alley Espresso was our favorite coffee and they were super friendly and personable despite the crowd! Also, Hellenika Cultured Creamery is delicious and brand new to Pike Place with so many delicious flavors (including dairy-free options).
Pike Place Market - we did the food tour with Show Me Seattle and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone! Take the ferry to Bainbridge Island for only $10 round trip per person! If nothing else, you get a great view and then you can walk to fun restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores. This is also where pickleball was invented!! Gas Works Park is really neat and gives a great view of the city.
Snoqualmie falls, Marymoore Park, Woodinville wine district has some wineries that have vines and areas you can takes pictures at, these are out side of Seattle city by a 20-30 minute drive
The Crab Pot is great for fresh seafood.

Saltys on Alki Beach has gorgeous views and amazing food. The waiter was a good sense of humor and brought me milk with my cake at my request.
We saw plenty during our trip so it's hard to pick! The Bloedel Reserve is a must for an moderate hike. The ferry to Bainbridge Island and the many small shops on the island are worth a trip. Be sure to visit Mora Creamery and try any of the signature flavors. Also troll under the bridge and nearby Gas Works park.

Spinasse for fantastic Italian food. Make reservations well in advance though.
Seattle is SO CLOSE to some amazing landscapes and nature! A trip to Seattle is always going to put you just a quick drive away from great outdoor spots that have you out on the water or in the woods or on mountains. One of Seattle's greatest features is the close proximity to awesome outdoors, so get out there if you can!

Even after so many years, Matt's in the Market continues to be my favorite spot to eat at Pike Place Market. Their huge factory windows that look out into the market cannot be beat for the charm and atmosphere of a good sit down meal.
Savor Seattle offers awesome food tours of Pike Place that makes for a great way to see (and eat!) at multiple stops in the market if you're short on time or just want to make a quick visit count as much as possible.

Seattle itself is a romantic place to visit because of its cool weather and vibrant culture
How can you just pick one restaurant in Seattle. First of all, you can't get a bad cup of coffee. We like to start the day at Macrina Bakery or Top Pot Doughnuts downtown to fuel up for the day. Our favorite lunch is Salumi in Pioneer Square for the most delicious and unique cured meat sandwiches. For dinner, we head to Ivar's Fish Bar down by Elliott Bay, when the sun goes down, you get an amazing sunset view with the Olympic Mountains.
The Klondike Gold Rush museum in Pioneer Square is free. They have exhibits for adults and kids that give you a first hand experience of what it would have been like to leave Seattle on a prospecting trip!

Wandering around the market and waterfront in the early morning or just after it rains.
Don't be afraid of a little rain, Seattle gets less rainfall each year than Florida and it usually comes down as mist!

Wear good walking shoes and explore as much as possible by foot! Walking is the best way to see and FEEL the vibe of a city; and in Seattle there are so many amazing restaurants and cocktail bars, you won't feel so guilty about enjoying them after you've spent the whole day exploring the city on foot!
Give yourself enough time to explore everything this city has to offer! We definitely could have used at least a day or two more than we have ourselves.
