What is your love story?

She moved to La and we met at a job which she was offered by a friend of a friend of mine. While in Miami she went for a dessert and sparked for conversation with owner she mentioned moving to la. He then connected her with my friend who hired her to work an event. I happen to work that event, I took one look at her and told myself she was the one. We hit it off as friends but we quickly fell into our own separate relationships. Our respected partners at the time did not like us being friends, so we stopped being friends. Years passed we then rekindled and never left each others sight. People started referring to her as my wife strangers, life suddenly made sense with her as if it was what I had been missing.

What made you choose this proposal destination?

I choose this destination to propose because I wanted to recreate our first visit to Santa barbara. Which is where we shared similar values, life goals, food, architecture etc. It was a fun meaningful day as friends so I figured a repeat but this time as a date. During this proposal I even booked the same hotel room we stayed in which was about 10years ago.,

What is your proposal story?

We started off by visiting our favorite coffee shop followed by taking a self guided walking tour. Took a pastry run as she loves pastries We then visited the santa barbara courthouse and clock tower after that we went for a nice lunch. To let the food digest we visited a museum. After the museum we took a break to go cheese shopping for our picnic. All this time she had no idea the big question was coming along shortly. Once we gathered all our food for the picnic I told her I had a last minute work meeting, so I left her shopping. At this time I checked into the hotel to make sure it was the right room I left a flower and a note. I picked her up we went to a private beach where I set up a marvelous picnic set up for us. I had a photographer waiting (Clarissa) She loves the beach food and nature so I thought this was perfect however Right before I was about to propose a huge group of horse back riders started to crowd the area. Time was ticking we were loosing perfect golden hour light i was nervous suddenly horses were gone lighting was great and proposal happened. She said yes i finished the night with one last surprise which was the hotel room we first stayed in and processed it all with some wine.
