Adrienne's Travel Tips for Positano

What are the best places to eat and drink in Positano?

Yes there are many instagram, scene-y restaurants you probably have been recommended to visit. Here is a couple off the beaten path options that you will have a good quality meal at: 1. Da gabrisa 2. La taverna del leone 3. terrace bar at Il San Pietro or splurge dinner at Zass Il San Pietro's michelin starred restaurant

What are the best things to do in Positano?

We have a lot of cool off the beaten path memories because our hotel offered some excursions daily including: 1. insane hike up to the iron cross above Nocelle... wear trainers or hiking shoes if you have this is a challenging one. 2. Take a boat trip to Nerano and eat lunch at Taverna Capitano 1 michelin star restaurant- hyper local food. 3. If you enjoy the beach, rent a daybed at La Scogliera spend the day swimming, people watching, dining, drinking and catnapping.

What is your best travel tip for Positano?

If you consider yourself a discerning/ sophisticated diner and you are going to read tripadvisor/google or yelp reviews, read the Italian reviews when making decisions for dining. Also look at the ratios of Italian reviews to other languages.
