What is your love story?

My husband and I have been married for 10 years! But when he proposed 11 years ago it was basically he came to my house and asked my father and we were engaged! He is Italian and I am South Asian so it was a very traditional engagement! So this year he decided he would re-propose to be since he never really go to do the whole “surprise”!

What made you choose this proposal destination?

We were planning on going to Italy, but with the borders closed and COVID we decided to explore our homeland Canada! And no regrets!

Robin said a few key words and all of a sudden my husband was on his knees!

What is your love story?

I meet my fiance in high school our freshmen year and after moving away for a year came back to the same high school started dating junior year. It will be 8 years together this August with long distance for 7 years due to me moving away to play hockey as well as going to college and my fiance going off to college as well. We have been talking about our future together for awhile and knew that we wanted to get married someday. I knew that she was the one after we have been through so much together and I don't know what I would do without her.

What made you choose this proposal destination?

When I was younger I used to go to the Banff area for a hockey camp and as I got older I knew that I wanted to propose there. The area is so beautiful and it was always one of my favorite places to visit. Her parents invited me on a family trip not knowing that I wanted to propose there so after everything was finalized I went to her parents and asked if it was okay to propose on the trip. They said yes and were happy to help me how ever they could and that my parents needed to come as well.

What is your proposal story?

The proposal happened early in the morning at Lake Minnewanka. After hiking all around the area all week my parents and her parents said that we would take family pictures then change into our hiking clothes to hike the trail afterwards. Our photographer Robin got there early and sent a text where to go for the proposal. After not so subtly rushing her out of the car and to the area by the lake so I didn't have time to get nervous I proposed and was so happy that our parents were there to share the moment with us. My fiance had no idea that it was going to happen on the trip so it made everything more special.

What is your love story?

Small town high school sweethearts who broke up when we decided to go off to college and we met up at a going away party at the end of the semester randomly and went to different colleges and have been together since!

What made you choose this proposal destination?

I've always been attracted to the mountains and I've seen the glacial blue lakes in the Canadian Rockies so I thought it would be a great spot!

What is your proposal story?

It went absolutely perfect. I did it at lake Moraine in the morning, we got unexpected snow but it made the pictures that much more pretty! She had no idea!
