Met him on the plane ✈️ flying from Luxemburg.

What is your love story?

We met and in those days no e-mails, so a lot of letter writing, loved his letters, after two years I returned to Cape Town from the USA and three months later we got married, just celebrated our 40th anniversary. W

Kekoa's Proposal Story in Cape Town

What is your love story?

I met Kekoa in Chicago. I joke that I fell for him before I met him based off of his profile picture, but it's not really a joke. There was instant chemistry and our first date was one for the books.

What made you choose this proposal destination?

I wanted to choose a place that was private, but also picturesque, for an intimate proposal.

What is your proposal story?

Kekoa suggested that we go up to Signal Hill to take photos at sunset. He asked a stranger if she would take a photo for us, and after she took the photo, Kekoa said "So...it's happening" and then got down on one knee. I was in absolute shock but said yes in an instant. Afterward, said stranger came up to us and introduced herself as our photographer. The rest is history =)
