Joanna got in contact before our shoot to confirm the arrival location (which was not the “main” entrance but was the perfect place for us to enter and start pictures) and was very responsive in WhatsApp. Before even getting started her energy and engagement with our kids was 10/10, especially important with kids and getting their buy in. Throughout our shoot, Joanna was calm, patient but also purposeful to ensure we got as many locations as possible as well as many differing group shots too! Our kids (2.5 boy and 6 yo girl) were so comfortable around her and loved the experience as well. We love our photos so much. This was a photoshoot we set up a couple weeks before our big international trip and I'm so glad we decided to do it. Andi knew exactly where to get the most beautiful photos without it being touristy or cheesy. Just gorgeous backdrops, a variety of locations close to one another, and different pairings of photos we cannot wait to frame. She gave great directions to us so we'd know how to pose (nobody wants an unflattering facial expression or a wardrobe malfunction), and brought stroopwaffles when the energy started to wane. She is really easy to chat to and has a very relaxed and happy demeanor about her, and really knows how to capture a gorgeous composition and the natural moments. The thing we enjoyed most, was that she gave us enough direction but allowed us just to experience the moment. It never felt like a photo shoot or forced in any way. It was like a lovely wander round the city while somebody else was snapping away. She was very communicative and answered all of my questions ahead of the photoshoot (including providing tips on how to travel to Keukenhof gardens from Amsterdam with two elderly people and a toddler!). On the day of the shoot, it was windy and crowded. Joanna reassured me that we would still have beautiful photos and she was right! She reminded us to be in the moment and enjoy the process, especially considering the beauty that was surrounding us. We made wonderful memories during this photoshoot that was captured so beautiful.
