This gem is located in Ravello and is owned by a lovely nonna named Netta, who still works daily cooking and bringing out her signature dishes. This place will make you feel like you've just arrived in your own nonna's kitchen.

Staying in praiano was amazing. It was a small town and made you feel at home. We loved the views from the villas in Ravello, the view from the cemetery at Amalfi, everything in Positano and adventuring around Praiano!

Use the SITA bus. It goes everywhere and it’s cheap transportation! Trust the bus drivers, even when it looks like you’re going to hit a car or go flying off the mountain. They’re good at what they do! Get the Moovit app to help with bus schedules, and always get to the bus stops early. Don’t be afraid to wave your hand at the bus stops so they’ll actually pick you up!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our engagement with my family. Our favorite dinner spots were the Marina Grande right on the water and the Bistro F.lli Pansa right across from the beautiful cathedral! At both places the food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was second to none.

It was quite a workout but for those that seek adventure and some beautiful views the Valle dells Ferriere via Valle dei Mulini is an amazing hike that takes you high up into the Amalfi mountains! Along the way you will find ruins and some wonderful waterfalls that are the perfect way to cool down!

What is your best travel tip for Amalfi Coast?

My best advice would be to purchase a pair of water shoes/sandals as the beach is made up of volcanic rock not traditional sand. The other best advice I could give would be to get down the the beach fairly early to get a good seat to enjoy the beach and wonderful water.

Amalfi Lemon Experience - we did their lemon tour and a private cooking class to make pasta and pizza. It's family owned and operated so you get to interact with and cook with their family. Everyone was so sweet and amazing! It was one of our favorite experiences in all of Italy!

Have a backup plan if any of your activities rely on the ferry. We had a few instances were ferry trips were cancelled due to low ticket sales and had to last minute catch a bus if they were still running, or spend a lot unexpectedly on a taxi.

The Pelligrino Hotel in Praiano is a small, family-run hotel just outside of town. It is situated high on top of the cliff side and boasts spectacular views of the water and the town from the private balconies and the rooftop restaurant. The Pelligrino family is just lovely. They are welcoming and eager to make your stay comfortable and memorable. From recommending restaurants, to helping us book a private boat tour of the Amalfi Coast, to offering us free drop off and pick up into town, and even providing free laundry service, they went above and beyond to take incredible care of us!

What is the best tip for going on your babymoon to Amalfi Coast?

There’s already so much walking to do in Italy. Make sure you have a hotel that is within a 10 minute walk to the beach. It’s all up and down the same relatively steep hill. It can get exhausting! Having s private beach with our own chairs/umbrella through the hotel was exactly what we needed. We had straight access to the beach just a couple hundred steps away which saved us a lot of time and money and gave us a lot of privacy to enjoy the beach.
