Meet Benjamin in Tokyo
I'm a Canadian photographer who has been based in Tokyo for 20 years. I specialize in portraits and advertising photography. My style has a 'documentary' feeling, as opposed to being highly stylized and artificial. I believe that photography's greatest asset is its ability to show real people, places and things, in a way that you haven't seen them before.

Favourite Place to Shoot: Harajuku & Shibuya, as both these areas offer a great variety of shooting locations.
Three Things
- When I'm not taking photos I love reading, going to art galleries, walking, and exercising.
- When I was a child, I was the host of a kid's TV show.
- One thing I couldn't live without is my books.
