My photography style is photojournalistic, candid, bright, and full of love! I use my craft as a window into your heart and unique personality in order to capture who you really are as you journey through life and our beautiful world! I'm all about getting to know you, becoming fast friends, and helping you connect and truly be comfortable in front of the camera. Through our time together, I'll become your second set of eyes in order to document the joy and love you feel in your heart. I'm all about giving you a super carefree, fun, beautiful experience so you'll create real memories together and then see those moments looking back at you. I've been lucky to be published in Vale + Vine, KnotsVilla, Weddingbells Canada, Rock n Roll Bride, Styled in Lace, and CBC News.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Cape Spear is a never-ending favourite! Most easterly point in North America.

Three Things

  1. I've been a photographer ever since I was 12 years old and I always knew I was meant to do it for the rest of my life. After a brief stint in university doing a business degree, I left it to go full time into my dreams and have never looked back!
  2. I love to watch The Office, spend hours on Pinterest looking at home decor ideas, hanging out with my crazy little cat, adventure around my city, hike our many gorgeous cliffs by the ocean, and spend hours on end laughing with my best friends. Travelling also has my heart and my favourite place I've witnessed is the Scottish Highlands. Insanely gorgeous!
  3. One thing I can't live without is quite simply, love. It's the beginning and end of everything and the most beautiful part of being human. But, also... goat cheese. I put it on everything.

More Information

Maddie is available for shoots outside of St. John's for 2 hour minimum bookings. Such areas include Brigus and Ferryland.

Maddie was absolutely amazing. She was fantastic with our young kiddos. You can see it on all our faces how much fun we had—all thanks to Maddie! Maddie was very flexible and accommodating to shoot times that worked best for us and changing up the location (Newfoundland has very unexpected weather!) These photos are easily my most favorite shoot we’ve had to date. I can’t recommend Maddie enough.

Maddie is such an amazing photographer. She was so lovely to spend time with and made us feel so comfortable! We love all of our photos – it's hard to choose a favourite. She did a wonderful job capturing the moment and our trip to St. John's. We would 12/10 recommend booking with Maddie!!

Maddie was just lovely to get to work with! We loved our time in St. John’s, and we LOVE that we have these gorgeous photos to help us remember our time as a family there. Maddie was so great in helping us feel comfortable during the photo shoot and did a wonderful job getting our toddler to smile even though it was a cold and windy day! She even gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our time in St. John’s. The photos she took are just lovely and will be pictures we cherish forever. We can’t recommend Maddie enough!
