    Favourite Place to Shoot: Seoul forest which is the biggest park in the Seoul city, and Hanok village.

Three Things

  1. I always recommend Seochon Hanok Village. It has all the traditional charm of Bukchon but with a much more quiet, laid-back vibe. Situated in central Seoul with great accessibility, it’s the best place to explore authentic local food and capture peaceful hanok shots.
  2. I always recommend Balwoo Gongyang. It offers a refined, Michelin-recognized Buddhist temple cuisine experience. Using only seasonal plant-based ingredients and traditional fermented sauces, the dishes are exceptionally light, nourishing, and flavorful. It’s perfect for vegans and anyone looking to experience true Korean food culture.
  3. I always recommend going for a hike or trek. Seoul is surrounded by stunning mountains, making hiking super accessible. In particular, Inwangsan Mountain is a must-visit; it offers a rich cultural path and one of the best night views of downtown Seoul.

Highly recommend Josh! He was fantastic during our photoshoot at Seoul Forest. Wrangling three kids is tough, but he was so patient and wonderful with them, especially our one-year-old. This is our third time using Flytographer, and the photographer quality remains consistently excellent. Booking and communicating in English was incredibly easy, which was a huge plus. We would definitely use Josh again on a return trip to Korea!

We had the absolute best experience with JungHan (Josh) from Flytographer in Seoul! Our group of six professional women—longtime friends turned mom-besties—took our very first international trip together and wanted a commemorative photoshoot. Josh delivered above and beyond. Our one-hour session took place in the middle of a chilly autumn day, but Josh made it feel effortless and fun. He met us right on time and guided us through the back entrance of Bukchon Hanok Village, taking photos along the way. Because of his thoughtful route, we reached the heart of the village ahead of the crowds coming from the main entrance. It was such a relief to enjoy the beautiful setting without tons of people in the background of our photos. Josh was wonderful to talk to, easy to work with, and shared a bit about his background along the way—making the session feel relaxed and personal. And the best part? Our photos were delivered before our trip was even over… and spoiler alert: they were absolutely gorgeous! We couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly, highly recommend booking with Josh!
