Meet Coty in Seattle

I'm a North Carolina native and PNW transplant of over ten years. I'm a mother of two with a passion for storytelling and documenting life in its natural state. Whatever you’re celebrating, learning and documenting your story is my favorite part of this job. My images are natural and bright and my lifestyle sessions are organic, free-flowing and full of fun and laughter. I’ll offer direction and posing when needed or requested, but I aim to capture you and your loved ones being yourselves and happy together.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Seattle is Parsons Gardens in Queen Anne. It's a quiet, secluded little park with great foliage in the fall and flowers in the spring and a close walk to Kerry Park for a nice view of the city.

Three Things

  1. In my freetime, I teach workout classes for FIT4MOM West Seattle, enjoy hiking the many trails of the Pacific North West, and introducing my daughters to the world. On a night in, you'll find me with a board game (or two) watching a Marvel movie, and cuddling on the couch with my FOUR pets.
  2. One thing I can't live without is a Lavender Latte. I'm kind of a sucker for anything lavender (smell or taste or color) and coffee is kind of a necessity.
  3. My friends tell me I'm terrible at jokes. I think they're funny but have a tendency to mess up the punch line (or sometimes forget it all together). In the land of what is called "the Seattle Freeze" I'm a total extrovert and love meeting new people!

On weekends Coty is available for 120-minute minimum bookings in the following three National Parks: Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic.

We had such a wonderful experience with Coty in Seattle! She was not only an incredible photographer but also such a warm and personable guide. She walked us through Pike Place Market, shared so many fun facts about the city, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We even grabbed espresso to kick off our shoot and wandered through Post Alley and the flower market, which made for some really special and unique shots. Coty was timely, professional, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her ability to blend great conversation with capturing authentic moments made our time together so enjoyable. We can’t recommend her enough!
