Meet Valentina in Sardinia

New to Flytographer!

Hello! I'm Valentina, a Sardinian photographer. Born and raised in Alghero, I moved to various cities to study, work and improve my photography portfolio. However, my heart remains in Sardinia, which is why, after working in Rome, Turin and Lake Como, I decided to bring my work back to the island, where light and colours fill my soul. I love the sea, and summer is definitely my favourite season; I cannot stay away. But being away has also taught me to appreciate the mountains a little better. Snow is not really my thing, but I am working on it! Let's just say that for me, winter means a fireplace, a blanket and a good book, with my cat keeping me company!

    Favourite Place to Shoot: The beaches of Alghero. Because the sea is my favourite place, it makes me feel good and puts me in a good mood. Working in places that make you smile definitely makes everything more inspiring.

Three Things

  1. For me, capturing a moment through photography is a very important work. Whether it's a holiday, a honeymoon or just a moment in everyday life, photos will remain forever, and when you look at them again after a long time, you can relive those moments with the same intensity. That's why I like simple photography that is rich in significance.
  2. People who choose to be photographed by me will be captured in their spontaneity. This does not mean that you will not be directed or that you will not receive advice. On the contrary, I will give you lots of little tips to put you at ease in front of the camera. Smiles, expressions and poses will never be left to chance, even though the final result will look spontaneous. Post-production is also very natural. I respect the colours and light in every shoot.
  3. My main recommendation for a photo shoot is to wear your best smile! Joking aside, starting with clothing, you should wear clothes that make you feel comfortable. You don't have to conform to what you've seen online. You can maintain your own style but with a little attention to detail. For example, choose plain clothes without writing or prints that distract attention. After that, what I ask of you is TRUST. If you choose me as your photographer, I will need you to trust me and follow my instructions, even if they may seem a little bizarre at times! You will see that by following these small pieces of advice, the result is guaranteed.
