Meet Vanina in San Miguel de Allende

I am an Argentinian dreamer who fell in love with the colors and the magical culture of Mexico. Here I rediscovered my passion for photography. What I enjoy the most is to capture the genuine beauty that, at times, can only be revealed through the magic of a photograph. I have a candid, spontaneous style. I love colorful pictures, full of light, especially those that show the feeling of the moment. I love when people recognize themselves in the pictures, as they express their joy.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Lavaderos del chorro. This is an original place in San Miguel, and it is not crowded and has beautiful streets, flowers and trees to play with in the photos.

Three Things

  1. Before being a professional photographer I was a scientist, but when I discovered photography I felt free in many ways. Currently I combine both professions because they bring different things to my life.
  2. When I am not taking photos I love dancing, spending time with friends and being surrounded by nature. I have a polaroid camera which I love to use for my spontaneous memories.
  3. I have a Biology PhD and came to Mexico for a postdoc fellowship.
