I am a firefighter wife and mom who loves adventure and travel with my crew. From urban jungles to breezy beach getaways, I love sinking right into the towns by exploring local favorites - neighborhoods, coffee shops, restaurants, museums, lakes, and beaches. I am a film-inspired, natural light lifestyle photographer based in some of Southern California's most pristine, golden coastlines and hills. I have been a photographer for over 10 years with unique opportunities of working with schools and being featured in publications for my elopements to family lifestyle images.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Calafia State Beach Park. It has different types of backdrops from the sandy beach to the trail to our very own slot canyons.

Three Things

  1. Hands down, the best thing I do with my free time is spending it with my family and friends. Whether it's lazing around the beach, watching movies, going on hikes, or trying out a new restaurant, the experience of savoring our life makes me so grateful.
  2. I can't live without traveling. Whether it's exploring the great outdoors or urban jungles with my family and friends, I enjoy completely immersing myself in the culture.
  3. I have been a homeschooling mom for the past 8 years and have loved every moment of it...even the tough moments.

Maria had a great idea for the location that had sand bluffs and the ocean for backdrops. She was great with the kids and posing each of us to look our best.

We travel to San Clemente each summer so it was great to get some photos to capture our visits. Maria was so warm and welcoming and took some great shots of our family on the beach and the pier. Definitely recommend!
