Meet Anna in Rome

I have been photographing couples, families and various events since 2007. Have lived and photographed in Washington DC and Boston. I am now in Rome and just joined Flytographer. Happy to bring all my experience here to the heart of Europe! When clients ask me how to prepare for our session, the answer is very simple: think about it as a meeting with an old friend who will take you for a pleasant and fun walk through this city. No stress, just go with the flow sort of walk. Many times I am asked if the kids are tired - how do we go about it? We let them take a break, we will let them be themselves (also some very great photos can come out of that). And we can use that time wisely by having a mini-couples' session for the parents. I am very relaxed with posing: whatever feels more natural to you is the key to success. And I will absolutely help you with adjusting your poses when it's needed! Groups and large families: don't worry, I can be very structured and organized if we are on the timeline and have a lot of people to manage for posed photos (I have 100+ experience in large group events).

Three Things

  1. Over the years, I have enjoyed many different photo sessions, with very different people in very different settings. One common thing is to have this experience be a happy one...not just for the sake of having vacation photos, but to relive these moments all over again when you are looking at that framed photo on your wall.
  2. With me, you are getting an easy-going, zero-stress photo session. I will advise you on how to quickly get used to the camera and relax around it. Just be yourselves and concentrate on having very happy moments with your family and loved ones.
  3. My tip for Rome is to just walk the streets, watch people and breathe in the soul of this city!

We truly could not have asked for a better photographer to capture such a special time in Italy! From the very beginning, she made us feel so comfortable and completely at ease in front of the camera.
