Meet Ernir in Reykjavik
I'm a freelance photographer, based in Reykjavík and have mainly been shooting for local press and magazines since I started working as a photographer in 2010. My strongest side is doing portraits and catching the moment in events and happenings. I think the most important thing is how you connect with the people involved, knowing when to be a fly on the wall and when to interact and make the subject feel comfortable.

Three Things
- Like most people, I like hanging out and doing fun stuff with family & friends, but I also like taking long walks with music in my ears and binge watching TV series.
- Besides my family, I could never live without music and humour.

This was my first experience with Flytographer, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process, the outcome, and especially our photoshoot with Ernir. These photos will always be such a special souvenir from our time in Iceland. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side that day, it was raining quite a lot. But Ernir was incredibly professional, patient, and positive throughout the shoot. He not only managed to capture some beautiful moments despite the challenging weather, but he was also very patient and wonderful with my little one. Thank you so much, Ernir, for making the experience special and giving us these beautiful memories to cherish.

Ernir was amazing!! He did a great job wrangling our two little kids and keeping everyone engaged! He was great to talk to and even let our daughter take some photos! His vision was great and the pictures came out amazing!

Ernir was professional and kind, and we had nice conversation between shots. He tried very hard to capture photos of us without many people in the background on a very busy weekend, and did a lovely job. I even wrote his name wrong in a message and he was too polite to call me out on it. So sorry I got your name wrong once - and takk fyrir for the lovely photos and your time!
