Meet Tracy in Portland, Maine

No dark or burnt sienna edits here; I like 'em natural with an editorial punch! And while I have a Rolodex of poses the size of a 1995 phone book in my head, I love capturing motion because it brings photos to life—the way our faces light up when our partner gets down on one knee, the wind blowing in our hair, the energy flowing between two bodies as they move toward each other—all of these things allow me to capture you as you are when I'm not around. I'm also extremely detail-oriented. Before a shoot, I'll visit a flower field three times in one day (and have), just to see what the light looks like in morning, afternoon and sunset, because I want you to have the best possible experience and the best possible photos. I've been nominated Best Photographer for Portland, Maine Best of 2022 Awards 2 years running and have been published by Elements Magazine (May 2021).

Favourite Place to Shoot: Besides being a scenic wonderland of floral paths and rocky cliffs jutting into the ocean, Portland Head Light, located in Fort Williams Park, is the most photographed lighthouse in America, and also the oldest in Maine.

Three Things

  1. I love gas station pizza and reading self help books in my car.
  2. The one thing I can't live without is vaseline. Nothing funny, I just use it as lip balm.
  3. Having never trained or exhibited even the slightest aptitude for sports, I'm exceptionally good at ax throwing. I'm also really good at picking the fastest checkout/traffic lane.
