I first and foremost believe in the power of human connection; that beautiful ability that allows us to draw out the best in each other. Sparking connection is what ignites my soul and with that, you'll find that I look for any point of connection when shooting: your connection together, how the light dances with you, how the scenery embraces you, etc. No matter the connection, I'm here to help you feel it again when you look back on your beautiful photographs.

Three Things

  1. When I'm not taking photos I love to just be outside in the Pacific Northwest. It really is one of the most magical places I've ever been to in all of my travels. I also enjoy teaching yoga and meditation.
  2. I can't live without beauty, witnessing and experiencing it.
  3. I am a published author my memoir on healing Blooming Upside Down was release January 2024.

Loved working with Emmy! She was patient with my teenaged son and captured some wonderful images -it's going to be a tough decision about which one is the best to use as his senior portrait! I also am so happy with the shots of the family - we had fun time with the group shots and it really shows. I am grateful to her for time, patience, and talent - highly recommend working with Emmy!

Emmy was SO great to work with! She gave such good direction but also let us be ourselves. She has a great eye, made the whole shoot easy and fun, and we wound up with photos we both absolutely love. Would happily work with her again.
