Beside receiving beautiful images, I feel that having your photograph taken is also about the experience. I love bringing out confidence in clients who might otherwise feel self-conscious. I thrive on making it fun and easy for people to be in front of my camera.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: I love photographing at La Quinta Resort, as they have many different green backdrops, or up Highway 74 where there are plenty of desert landscapes (mountains and palm trees).

Three Things

  1. I absolutely love travelling with my friends and/or husband. If I have any free time, I enjoy painting and playing the piano. I hate working out, but love basketball and skiing.
  2. One thing I can't live without is Instagram and my phone. I go through withdrawals if I haven't checked it all day!
  3. While I don't have any tattoos or piercings, I express myself through different, fun, vibrant hair colours. I'm not sure what it is, but I feel like I should have been born with purple hair, as I feel more comfortable with it than my natural brown!

We had such a great time shooting with Melissa! Communication was seamless and it was easy to coordinate an ideal location for our family. During the photoshoot, Melissa helped make sure our family was comfortable and gave us direction when needed (which was very helpful with kids running around!) We have very active kids and Melissa was able to run with the energy and pivot when needed. She was able to capture our family’s beautiful essence in posed photos and more fun/playful ones! Highly recommend working with Melissa!

Melissa was AMAZING! We had the best time with her. She was great with the little kids and kept them entertained. She got all the group shots we wanted and was quick and efficient. The final results turned out so well. We loved our experience with her!

Melissa was fabulous! She was most accommodating as we had to postpone our photo shoot one day & then she helped us make the best of crummy weather - such is life - I think she captured our 3 generation family well! I would definitely recommend her & would definitely have her again. Thanks Melissa.
