Hi! I’m a portrait, reportage, and art photographer who specializes in capturing natural and authentic images. My curiosity is surely the reason for my career choice. I studied photography and fine arts at the Munich Art Academy, where I learned to experiment. I always do my best to capture very natural pictures with minimal posing. I do a mixture of spontaneous shots, showcasing your surroundings, combined with a few nice close-ups. I’m excited to meet you and share my recommendations on where to go and what to see in this beautiful city during our time together!

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Odeonsplatz, Hofgarten, and the Opera because they offer many different backgrounds and styles which are possible to visit in an hour long shoot or more.

Three Things

  1. I love to travel and work in my studio on new objects and sculptures. This balances the time I spend in front of the computer, working on images. Some evenings, I enjoy sitting by the fire with my artist colleagues at our atelier house in Munich.
  2. I'm always looking forward to the next day and can't live without my imagination and creating new things.
  3. Before I decided to become an artist and photographer, I planned to pursue a career as a mathematician. I lived in India (Kolkata) for two years and can speak a bit of Bengali.

My wife Amanda and I didn't know what to expect when our friend said she had a surprise for us for our anniversary. Little did we know, she had scheduled a photo shoot for us with Julia. We were a bit nervous at first, but the photo shoot turned out to be really fun. Julia took us around to different locations in Munich and told us a little about the places we were shooting in. She was very personable and a great photo director. Thank you for a great day.
