I am a Minnesota photographer who is always up for an adventure! When I am not photographing couples in Minnesota I am exploring other countries and cultures, trying local food and drinks. My photography style has a natural and candid feel to it, and my clients and I are always laughing and having a fun time together. I'm all about capturing the raw emotions that are unique to each couple or family. I usually photograph weddings, engagement sessions, and lifestyle shoots, and I have worked with companies such as AirBnB and Hostelworld!

Three Things

  1. I love photography because travel moments pass so quickly, but photos give us a way to hold onto them forever. Every city has its own energy, atmosphere, and story, and I love capturing not just what a place looks like, but what it felt like to be there in that exact moment. Years later, a single photo can bring you right back — the excitement of exploring somewhere new, the quiet moments between adventures, the people you shared it with, and the feeling of being fully present in a beautiful place.
  2. I'm always helping with prompts and poses, always laughing during photo sessions & strive to have photoshoots feel fun and easy!

Marissa requires additional travel fees on the following routes:

Marissa was AMAZING. She was a complete professional and really allowed us to share our personalities during the shoot. She captured candid moments, leaned into the goofy moments and was an all-around joy to spend an afternoon with. We loved her laid-back personality and she made us feel comfortable during the shoot, providing direction when we wanted it and also letting us do our own thing when we wanted to. Marissa is THE BEST!
