Hi! I am Alejandra. I love meeting people and showing them around my beloved CDMX. I love for my images to feel spontaneous and alive. I give certain directions and then stand back to capture the scene developing in front of me. I strive to create a relaxed vibe for all my clients. Light and composition are what guide me through a shoot. I also love color and always strive to incorporate/play with it in my images.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Centro histórico is so vast; it has many different scenes within itself, and it is also the most iconic part of the city. There's just so much to see and do and eat!

Three Things

  1. I went to film school and then worked in advertising, directing and editing for an ad agency. However, photography was (and is) what makes me the most fulfilled, so I decided to change paths and thus, live a happier life.
  2. I love going to the movies. I could go several times a week and I'm very happy when that actually happens. I also love a full evening of board games and/or karaoke.
  3. I love manila mangoes and will defend them as the best kind of mangoes if the occasion arises.

Alejandra was really lovely to work with. We had booked a late afternoon session but rain was forecasted so she reached out to us and worked with us to find another time. We chose Coyoacan for our location and had a very fun hour and a half walking around. I had put in my session request that I wanted rich colors in the photos so she found beautiful spots that were exactly what I was looking for. We just got the photos and they are AMAZING! Absolutely perfect and beautiful. Highly recommend Alejandra!

Alejandra was amazing! We had three generations together for our family photoshoot — two young kids (ages 3 and 5) and two grandparents — which is not the easiest dynamic to juggle, especially with little ones who don't always cooperate on cue. Alejandra guided us through it all in such a calm, warm manner that it never felt stressful. She was incredibly patient with our kids, finding ways to get genuine smiles and natural moments out of them instead of forced poses, and she made sure our grandparents felt comfortable too. The photos turned out beautifully and really captured our family in a way that felt authentic rather than staged. We loved our experience with her and would absolutely book her again the next time we're back in Mexico City.
