I am a wife and proud mother of two. Quirky, outgoing, and funny is how most people will describe me. I have a strong passion for capturing real & raw emotion and documenting life as it happens. I produce candid, light and airy photos. I am all about making your experience the best it could possibly be. Be prepared to have fun and possibly pee your pants from laughing so much! If you have kids, I promise you that we will be the best of friends (kids love me). There will be no stiff poses - you deserve more than someone who will just show up with a camera and says "Say Cheese!" By the end of the session we will all leave as friends, feeling like we have known each other for years.

Three Things

  1. In college I actually studied Early Childhood Development. I thought I wanted to be a preschool teacher like my grandmother. When I got out of college, I picked up a camera and never put it down.
  2. I absolutely love anything creative and crafty. You can find me knee deep in my latest project. I enjoy making jewelry, indoor plant art, shibori (Japanese tie dye) and much more.
  3. Not only was I born and raised in Hawaii, I am actually Hawaiian. My ancestors lived in Hana, Maui.

I cannot thank Tawni enough for such a memorable experience! We had so much fun taking our photos. Tawni did her homework and reviewed my pinterest board ahead of time and came with great ideas and strategy to get the shots I wanted, and suggested some amazing ones of her own. We also had to move the day/time around quite a few times due to weather and Tawni was extremely accommodating and communicative, especially because we were only in town for a few days. THANK YOU Tawni, I hope we get to work together again!

Tawni was absolutely wonderful! She was so bubbly and sweet, which immediately made us feel comfortable. She worked so well with our two-year-old and knew exactly how to keep things moving quickly in the Savannah heat. The whole experience was easy and fun, and she captured our family perfectly. Tawni was wonderful with our large family and in the heat! I was so nervous that they wouldn’t turn out well because we were all so hot and the kids were unhappy, and she really pulled off a miracle!
