Meet Jean Roberto in Lake Como
I’m Jean Roberto, a Bellagio-based fine art photographer and proud Lake Como local. I’ve been behind the camera since 1997, turning beautiful moments into stories you can keep forever. I love showing guests the hidden corners, breathtaking views, and timeless atmosphere that make Bellagio so special. Whether it’s a proposal, a romantic getaway, a family celebration, or simply your first time on Lake Como, I’ll help you feel relaxed, look natural, and experience the destination like a local. I worked in Information Technology for about 28 years before becoming a full time photographer. For me, to press the shutter is like to start a story - your story in Bellagio and Lake Como.

Favourite Place to Shoot: Bellagio! I love seeing my clients' expressions when we turn the corner into an alley and they see the view of the lake and mountains behind.
Three Things
- My home is in Bellagio and my favorite spot is the lakeside path in Bellagio, especially in summer when it comes alive with colorful flowers. Walking along the water with the lake and mountains surrounding you feels truly magical. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and capture the authentic charm of Bellagio. I especially love bringing guests here for a relaxed stroll and some unforgettable photos.
- My favorite place in Bellagio is Hotel Suisse. It’s a place I’ve been going to for years, and I always enjoy coming back. I love the relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful setting, and the feeling of being right in the heart of Bellagio. When guests ask me where I would go for a nice meal and a taste of the local atmosphere, Hotel Suisse is one of the first places I recommend.
- One thing I always recommend is simply slowing down and taking a walk with me through the lakeside paths of Bellagio. In summer, the flowers are everywhere, the lake is beautiful, and the mountains create an incredible backdrop. I love showing guests my favorite little corners along the way and watching them discover Bellagio beyond the busy tourist spots. It’s a simple experience, but it’s one I never get tired of sharing.

First I'd like to thank Mr. Jean Roberto for making this whole process very smooth and easy to do. I had to make some timing adjustments from the original schedule and he worked with me and we were able to setup the shoot without any issues. Mr. Roberto lives in Bellagio so he knew exactly where all the perfect spots to take the pictures, one of the perks of having a native resident on the team! We both absolutely loved all of our pictures that he took of us, the scenery was gorgeous (almost as gorgeous as my now Fiancée!). He helped a lot with our posing, giving suggestions for each of us to capture the perfect pictures which helped me a lot because I am a novice when it comes to posing for pictures. He helped me pick out the right boat for the day and gave several suggestions for different boat rental places. He also worked with the captain the whole time, getting us to all of the destinations within our time frame. He also acted as sort of a tour guide during our photoshoot, talking about all the places we were taking pictures at, who owns them, why they're famous, what films they were in, etc. Overall, Mr. Jean Roberto is a 10/10 photographer and host, I would definitely recommend him for your next photoshoot!
