I always reflect my personality in my pictures. I am passionate, fun, active, and I want to make people laugh. Natural, funny and original is what I'm looking for! I have lived in many amazing cities around the world and worked for magazines, communication agencies, and press. In Costa Rica, I mostly shoot weddings, families and nature.

Three Things

  1. I love to hike through the rainforest, ride my bike, read, and cook for friends while enjoying a glass of wine.
  2. One thing I can't live without is the beach. To wake up and walk barefoot in the sand makes me feel relaxed and focused - it's a natural therapy.
  3. My friends tell me I am a traveller, a dreamer and also that I have a lot of perseverance - I always fight for what I want and I never give up!

Mariana was absolutely fantastic! We hired her to capture our large family (12 total). She was accommodating with our location selection/preference, showed up early, and spent time checking out the area before beginning the photos. She did an excellent job positioning everyone and making sure to get all the various groupings and in different settings. Our group involved a young kid, who was highly resistant to photos and was largely uncooperative. Mariana was extremely patient and kind, and did an exceptional job engaging with him and was able to capture some great ones! Would highly recommend Mariana for your vacation/family photos!

We had a large group, with varying ages of kids and Mariana did a beautiful job. We loved every pose, portrait and group photo. She was extremely efficient with the time, manged the large group well and captured each individual to perfrection.

Mariana was so amazing to work with. She reached out and asked if we were flexible to switch our time to morning to accommodate for the the very rainy afternoon. We are so grateful she did this! We love our pictures and made it fun for our 4 year old and easy on for our 3 generations in the pictures.
