Hi, I'm Janine! I've been a photographer since 2014. I graduated from NAIT in 2014 with a diploma in Photographic Technology. I actually learned on film when I was younger! My style of photography is more documentary in nature and focused on emotion - whether you're looking for fun and lighthearted or quiet and moody, I want to do your relationship the justice it deserves! I love to work with couples from all over the world and being able to document a small chapter of your story together. My photography has been published in magazines and blogs such as Blush Magazine, Confetti Magazine and Rock n Roll Bride.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Whitemud Park (lots of nature, river valley) and downtown Edmonton/Whyte Avenue (more urban, lots of unique buildings, pubs and cafés)

Three Things

  1. When I'm not working, I love to travel, play board games and video games with friends, and spend time at home with my husband and our two rescue dogs. We love working on home projects, and reading (we even have our own book club!) My favourite thing to eat are tacos, I have so much fun finding new local taco places. I also have a wicked sweet tooth - I never say no to dessert (unless it's got nuts or peanuts, I've got allergies!)
  2. I'd love to say something sort of classy like tea or books, which are both true, but if I had to pick ONE thing I couldn't live without ... it'd probably be bread. I just really love all kinds of bread. I don't mean to brag or anything, but I can crush two or three baskets of Olive Garden bread sticks all by myself.
  3. My husband and I eloped to New Zealand in 2022. I wore a super colourful, non-traditional dress and we got to check seeing Hobbiton off of our bucket list!

Janine was incredible and we loved all the photos!!! She was excellent with the guidance, especially with the kids and captured natural expression and inadvertently pictures from the kids and the whole group. This is a great treasure for us.
