Meet Maja in Dubai

I'm a Croatian who has been living in the beautiful city of Dubai for a couple of years now. Photography is my biggest passion and only job to date for which I can work for hours without feeling that I'm actually working. My photography style is airy and bright with a soft touch of peachy tones, which I like to add as my signature. I like to capture candid moments, movements and emotions of my clients. My fashion work has been published by few magazines in Europe and UAE.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: The desert is simply my magical escape from everyday life. Old Dubai also has a special charm that won't leave you indifferent.

Three Things

  1. After finishing my Master in Nutrition Science and 6 years of pharmaceutical corporate job I was craving some creativity and life outside the office and decided to follow my passion for photography and made 180 spin in my career.
  2. I love to spend my free time on the beach, exploring around the city with friends, testing new cuisines and watching Netflix when I need ''time off'.'
  3. People always have a hard time figuring out how to pronounce my name and are often very confused when I correct them (they don't even dare to try my surname)! J is pronounced as Y in Croatian (Maya).

More Information

Maja is periodically able to accept 30-minute bookings at Dubai Marina, Bluewaters or Black Palace Beach only. For other Emirates Maja requires a minimum booking of 2 hours and a travel fee. Please inquire for details.

Old Dubai: 40 USD

Al Fahidi Historical District: 40 USD

Deira Spice Souq: 40 USD
